I get asked that question about once a week. When you’re dealing with an age group for whom the concept of time, especially weeks and months, is still a bit fuzzy, it’s hard to know what to say.
At any rate, Sarah decided to wear her Halloween outfit to school last week. Yep, it’s the middle of March. Nope, I’m not going to fight any battles over anachronistic fashion. She told me she was a superhero. “Candy Power!!!” complete with one fist in the air and the other arm akimbo on her hip. Now, that’s the kind of superpower I can get on board with.
